FLOWER STUDIES - SUMMER 2021
Since the first lockdown came into place with the ongoing pandemic I managed to get holed up back in my Country beginnings just north east of Oxford in the Cotswolds. Throughout the past two Spring and Summers here I’ve been fortunate enough to reconnect with the amazing nature on my doorstep and found a huge inspiration in the flowers growing in the garden. I’m especially drawn to the Echinacea flowers and their dramatic cone centres. Below is a selection of the Flower Series that is currently on-going and evolving.

Back to Berlin!
After spending lock-down purely by chance back in the UK, I am now finally back in Berlin to enjoy the last few weeks of Summer in the City. Since arriving back I made a conscious decision to slowly ease myself into life back here. One of my favourite activities is cycling around the City, discovering new areas, Cafes and Murals which are plentiful. I’ve always passed by this amazing and currently empty beauty of Brutalist architecture. Designed by Ralf and Ursulina Schüler, the Bierpinsel “Beer Brush” can be found on Schlossstraße in Steglitz, south west Berlin. Construction was completed in 1976 and opened as a restaurant… A sad state to see it now standing empty and unloved…. Would be a dream to paint the facade, which in-fact happened back in 2010 with the Turmkunst project… A dream futuristic home and studio space! The original facade can be seen here taken soon after completion.

Was honoured to have had the pleasure of being the first artist to take up residency for Covent Garden, London over the summer months. During my stint in London I created a selection of colourful vector graphics that adorned shop facades throughout the iconic shopping district alongside bespoke murals in my trademark animal print typography fusing pattern with the local shop names and messages of Summer fun! A huge thanks for Charlotte for making this happen! More pictures to follow soon….
ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS - CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF THE "ABBEY ROAD" ALBUM BY THE BEATLES.
As part of Abbey Road 50th anniversary celebrations, Abbey Road Studios came up with a new artistic spin on the famous wall outside the Studios. Over the duration of the coming months they’ve hand selected some of there favourite artists to visualise a song off the album by the Beatles. I was honoured to be selected as the first artist to ever paint the iconic Studio wall and selected the song “Here comes the sun”.
